HardbodyNaps
Can anyone tell me if an Intank fuel pump for an 87 Nissan hardbody napz , pushes out to much PSi for 45mm weber side drafts..?! Any input would be greatly appreciated.. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Yes. Webers want 3.5 psi just like most carburetors. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
All Z24i motors in the late 720 and early D-21 have throttle body injection and have a high pressure (40-50PSI) fuel pump. Quote Link to comment
HardbodyNaps
So the Intank fuel pump would be to strong to even try and use a fuel pressure regulator on to regulate it to that 3-3.5 correct? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I guess it would work. Might not with a cheap $12 regulator.. Quote Link to comment
HardbodyNaps
If I were to pull the fuel relay to disable the Intank fuel pump and hook up a stock napz fuel pump like they are in the 720's , would that work better?! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The 720 carb electric pump would be around 3.5PSI. As long as it's a carb pump. Some 720s had the Z24i motor with a high pressure pump. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
Perfect for Weber. Quote Link to comment
HardbodyNaps
At that Psi rate do u think I would still need to regulate it with a FPR?! Quote Link to comment
