It is here http://forum.ratsun.net/showthread.php?p=75094#post75094 i can never get the thought of a traditional looking rat rod built of all Datsun out of my head. How long is an L28 vs. an L16-L20? (sure we could go SR, but I like the old school vibe of an L28) And what is the distance between the front and rear wheels on z car? (Be nice to reuse the z steering somehow?) The thought at the moment would be to move back the 521 cab on the frame to fit an L28. (Cutting off everything from the firewall forward on the body for a fenderless look.) Moving the cab back would also look much better from a rat rod stance. Then we fab up a box bed like a model T. Would the torsions be an issue dropping an L28 into a stock 521 frame? Hafta come up with an interesting (narrow) front radiator shroud. Anyway, just imagining out loud.... Quote Link to comment
