jser12
What's up guys, so I tried googling this but it was to no avail. So I have a L20b with a mild cam and bored slightly over. Currently on it right now is the dependable 32/36 but I bought a side draft I would love to throw on. It is a dellorto 40mm side draft with a cannon intake mani. So I understand the linkage and will be able to set that up no problem but where my questions come from is what I do with all my hoses. In particular, the vacuum line from the distributor, do you run one or do you not? And also the intake anti-freeze line that goes to the thermostat, around the front of the engine, and splits to the block and the heater core? Hopefully that is enough info. Here is a picture of the carb Quote Link to comment
EricJB
Run it without the vac can hose. Set the total advance at 36 degrees. let it idle wherever it ends up. You will still need the coolant bypass from the Tstat housing around to the other side, but not to the intake mani. Quote Link to comment
KlassicMotion
I'm sorry I don't have your answers, but I wanted to check and make sure you've read about the downfalls of running a single side draft? Quote Link to comment
jser12
That sounded like a public service announcement. Gonna show up at my door "hello, can I teach you about the down falls of our lord and savior single side draft" Yea I know about them. Don't worry. 1 Quote Link to comment
