Then on to the flares

I used an aluminum rivet nut. Marked out the fender Drilled the holes and starting cutting the outer fender.

I then cut the inner fender about and inch lower than the outer cut. Stress relief cut and folded it out to the outer. I do not have the pics of welding the inner to the outer or the sealer. It was spot welded front to back then prepped for silicone sealer and smoothed out

Im doing body work right now, trying to hunt down a couple parts, Im kinda hoping that everything I need will be on these parts cars I'm going to get next week.. Then it will prolly be summer and I'll drive it for the summer. Next winter I will putting a RB in it. Haven't decided really on 20,25,26 but either way it should really pep it up. Before this winter is up I would also like to get all the bushings replaced and possible get the lower control arms and tension rods in. I appreciate the compliments. Really hoping to make this the best car I have built, I am doing absolutely everything myself!  :ninja:

this thing will look really good with the front splitter, I love the way you did the wheels, not to much stretch but enough to make it cool.   B)  :D

Hey thanks buddy . One of the two parts cars I'm getting has a Xenon brake vented air dam that I will be putting on it. I'm not sure if I will run the additional splitter on it. Although I do like the look. Heres a photo of what air dam I will be using. I couldnt find a pic of one with the splitter too. But if you look at http://community.ratsun.net/topic/20316-the-missions-1972-240z-sr20det-build/page-8 He shows a prime example of what one should look like With the splitter!  :w00t:

yea i think the splitter is BA. i want to get a 240z as my next project. I'm working on a 73 620 with a 4x4 conversion right now, and with a Z I would have the truck and the DD covered...i think a z would make a prefect senior project.

I couldnt agree with you more! Your 620 is lookin sick dude! It's like a perfect height.

Here is one of the one I made for reference :-)

And Jay I have loved your car from my first day on ratsun, Your ambition and ability to just build something from scratch has been a huge inspiration to me and my 280. The first time I read your build thread it was like watching a movie. My emotions went from happy to sad and angry to just blown away! You sir, along with Cristine Seipka, and "the Mission" (I don't know his name) You guys are the real inspiration
