fairladiesman
Need some help. My wipers work fine but when u turn them off they will go up to about mid windshield. Also when they are working on low they pause at the bottom like they normally would but once u turn it off it goes right back up. Anyone know how to fix it? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
There is a power wire to the wipers when the ignition is on even if the wiper switch is off. Wipers have a PARK circuit that is active when they are turned off. The circuit inside the wiper only opens when the arm reaches the bottom of the swing and power to the motor shuts off and they stop. If it stops at a random place on the windshield then the power to the park circuit or the park circuit is faulty. Quote Link to comment
fairladiesman
I took it all apart and tried to rebuild it with another one I found off an 81 model n the motor worked, fit right in. But the rest was backwards since on a right hand drive it mounts on the right side facing in. The inside, or turntable looked fine I cleaned it all up put new grease in it and it worked better and stronger but still stops in the same position. Quote Link to comment
