bosifus
Anyone do this before? I have a 79 with Blue moulding running down the side of it. You know the stuff that runs the entire length of the car. Is it simply glued on or is there more to it? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Both my 710 are riveted on by the dealer. (it was a 70's thing) My sedan's were removed and welded up. It's unbelievable how much better it looks. The forced horizontal line of the moulding totally clashes with the body sculptured lines. Quote Link to comment
bosifus
Yep the suspense was killing me so I ripped one off. Mine have a rivet at each end and the rest of the length is glue. Really easy to plug up and yeah it will look way better with them off. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
LeviGideon
I took mine off once it started falling off, and I couldn't find fenders with matching colored moulding. Got a real thin flathead, shimmied it in above each rivet and hit it with a small hammer. Sheared the rivets right off. Quote Link to comment
