mrbigtanker Posted June 10, 2013 Report Share Posted June 10, 2013 can anyone out there can give me any ideas for a brake conversion on a budget or what they think would be a good setup they run on there truck If your truck is stock just turn your drums put new shoes bleed them and adjust them and you will be fine with drums.Discs with brackets and i would recommend Juan's set up or what ever you go with will cost you at least 300.00-350.00 may be a little less but thats about right,and then are you going to put a "porp" valve that will cost you a little more.Let alone if you go steel braided lines and so forth.Its easy just how cheap are you. flatcat19 Posted June 10, 2013 Report Share Posted June 10, 2013 There a lot of brake conversion threads here on Ratsun for the trucks. LOTS! Not hard. You can do it cheaply or all out. Just make up your mind whether you will do disc/drum or 4 wheel discs. Knowing final outcome can save you from doing the same thing multiple times. Quote Link to comment
