fairladiesman
for some reason I'm in love with that weird color scheme... Yeah once I'm done fixing rust I'm gonna get it painted exactly as it was. Car show this Saturday I'm hauling it up there n putting a sign $10,000. Lol hope nobody is carrying that kind or cash. fairladiesman
It sure got a lot of attention at the car meet this weekend. Definitely doing some engine bay cleanup though bc it was embarrassing to pop the hood. ANY ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO TO MAKE IT LOOK CLEANER WIRE TUCK IS A MAYBE RIGHT NOW BUT ANYTHING ELSE I COULD DO?????? Quote Link to comment

fairladiesman
My initial plans were to go with carbs....but as of yesterday all of that changed. I was looking for an engine I could rebuild n just make look clean and put the carbs on. And in the middle of the searching I found motor n trany for 200$!!!!! And still talked him down to 100$!!! you cant beat that price. Come to find out this is what I got........ That's right turbo. So I guess now I'm going w turbo instead of carbs. The carbs I wanted were 1400$ anyways. :-/ Quote Link to comment
Ryoskatekov
What springs? cut spring front / tokico spring rear combo? and FYI those color combo's are called "Manhattan color" and was very popular. especially metallic blue body and silver hood. Also repainting the faded plastic parts gross black or polishing it really makes it look clean. I did it to my vents, wipers, etc and it really stands out. Quote Link to comment
fairladiesman
Well two of my struts went out so I'm waiting on cash so I can buy coilovers but yeah they're just cut. The tokico springs were too bouncy so I took them off n cut mine. Ohh and I plastidipped my vents. Turned out pretty decent. Quote Link to comment
fairladiesman
Its coming along. Slowly but surely. I want to delete a lot of vacume lines but not sure which ones I can do without. I've seen many turbo ZXs that have done it and it makes it look way better. Quote Link to comment
