Slixon
So after a two year hiatus I'm back. Just got my 78kc towed up to my new place with the parts truck. Now got the fun part. I have to remove the L/S inner fender and radiator support off the parts truck. What's the best way to do this? Chisel? Torch? 1 Quote Link to comment
budsaipan
Just get a drill and drill out the spot welds. Quote Link to comment
cruznude
Being real careful, drill out the spot welds one at a time from the inner being careful not to go through the firewall. I did this and with a big flat head and ball ping hammer removed both inners and the apron. Don't get me wrong, it's a bitch!!!! The hard part comes up next when you try to get it all aligned up right with your new parts and have it welded back to the firewall. Don't go any other way but welding. It won't last man.If I knew how to get those pics uploaded here I'd send you pics of mine and I'm at that stage of getting the whole front welded back. Quote Link to comment
