datzenmike Posted June 1, 2013 Report Share Posted June 1, 2013 I wouldn't do this. It would be like using a race horse to pull a cart. Z18 (Arabian) is too small to pull a pig heavy 720 and will be in boost mode all the time. The Z24 (Percheron) is a torque monster totally suited for pulling it. Yes it can totally be done they are both Z series motors. You'll need the Z24 oil pan to clear the front differential. If the Z18 does not have a flywheel on it the 6 bolt Z24 wheel may not fit if the Z18 has a 5 bolt crank. On the other hand the turbo motor may very well have a 6 bolt crank. Quote Link to comment
