ifixvws
Hey all, I have been checking out some of the past builds others have done and thought I would try and put something together. With QA1 in town, I called a local vendor of thiers and ordered up the hiem joints and needed parts. Once we laid everything out and found a small dimple in the steel that was the perfect messurment to line up our cuts with. This worked great and we had these done in under an hour or so. And here is the finished project. What you cant see is the extra weld we did on the inside were it is just spot welded. Now I just need to get them powdercoated. Thinking chassis black or flat black. qwik510
Yes, they look good. Only issue I see if that they are not 'on the car adjustable.' You need to disconnect them to adjust and then reconnect them each time you want to adjust them. Futofab makes a nice set that is "on Car adjsutable" The FutoFab design allows for adjustment without having to remove the control arm. The adjuster has right and left hand threads. By loosening the jamb nuts and turning the adjuster the control arm will lengthen or shorten based on the direction the adjuster is turned Not cheap though. Quote Link to comment
ifixvws
Not planning on adjusting these to much. They are measured to be the stock length as they sit. Just no rubber inner bushing. But damn that style would be a lot easier to adjust on the alignment rack. Quote Link to comment
