BlackCasio
I put a canopy on my truck yesterday and noticed that it pretty much leveled out my leaf springs...is there a leaf spring swap I could do or would adding a leaf or two do the trick? I'm planning on lifting it 2"-3" eventually also, so if swapping would make it taller, that works out perfect. Thanks all Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I bought a pair of F-150 rear leaves from a wrecking yard for $50. Replaced the Ford top leaf with my 620 top leaf after having it re arched to match the ford ones. This was extreme to say the least. It was incredibly stiff and 4" higher. What you could do is add maybe one or two Ford leaves close to the top to support the added weight of the cap. As I said the Fords were a lot more arched than the Nissan ones so perhaps just a single leaf lower in the pack? It's going to be trial and error. Quote Link to comment
KRAKER
This link might be helpful. A little critical think and a measuring tape and I'm sure you'll come up with something. http://littlekeylime.com/MrN/mrnimages/leaf_springs.png Quote Link to comment
