Markiewicz89
I've found this step by step written out on another ratsun post. It was for a 240SX... So, I'd like to make sure it is still accurate process for the Datsun 210/B310. If there is anything to add to this list or a different way for the 1979 Datsun 210/B310. Please reply. Guide: Step by Step to Replacing Clutch. 1.) Drain transmission and remove.2.) Remove pressure plate from flywheel.3.) Remove and replace pilot bushing in crank.4.) (Optional) Remove flywheel and have resurfaced and/or lightened - change rear main seal - replace flywheel.5.) Hang new clutch friction disc on flywheel using alignment tool.6.) Install new pressure plate.7.) Remove throwout bearing from carrier on transmission input shaft and replace with new bearing. Side Notes: - Lightly wipe some lithium grease on the input splines and wipe off with a rag. - Clean and re-grease the pivot arm contact surfaces, ball socket, and slave cylinder push rod surfaces with lithium grease.
