do the grills or headlight assemblies interchange ?

i have a '72 521, womdering if the '73 510 grill is a direct placement.

or if the truck parts will work on the cars.

No they are not interchangeable, but Im sure if you really wanted to cut apart the plastic grille to fit it you could.

Even with some cutting of either grille, the mounting holes are different on each as well, so you'd be either drilling new holes in either grille, or fabricating new tabs to match the pre-existing holes in the front of the 510/521.  And the headlight surrounds are the same way.... with different hole placement (the most noticeable would be the lack of the tab on the inner side of the 521 vs the tab that slips into the grille on the 510)

 

Wow, that is kind of hard to make total sense of, but I'm sure you get the point.
