I bought this truck from SulphurDAVE, the carb was toast, miising parts or something. any help would be appreciated Quote Link to comment
ggzilla Posted January 9, 2013 Report Share Posted January 9, 2013 No tricks, just bolt it on. And if you didn't get the linkage kit for it, you can unbolt the throttle quadrant from the Hitachi and bolt it on the Weber. Do not torque it down, just tighten enough to compress the lock washer. There shouldn't be a lock washer per se......just a flat washer that has a tab on it. Tab is bent over the 12mm nut to prevent it from backing off. As seen here.....tab is at 2 o'clock, on the side of the nut Has Hitachi trunnion/quadrant mounted Quote Link to comment
