bloodontheapex Posted January 5, 2013 Report Share Posted January 5, 2013 Was browsing Craigslist and saw this Z. Looked pretty run of the mill, neglected. Looked at the engine bay shot and saw something sort of weird. It appears to have Zenith Strombergs instead of the SUs. The manifold also appears to not have a balance tube (unless I'm just not looking close enough). Anyone know anything about this? Was it some kit back in the day? Or a strange home job? Opinions? I know, but do you see even a place for the balance tube to bolt onto those manifolds? It's cast, doesn't appear to be an SU manifold, so maybe something aftermarket? Quote Link to comment
