Jonathan Rowe
Hi Guys, I'm just about to start setting up the suspension and ride hights on my race car. It will be use for circuit racing here in the UK, it has fully adjustable suspension front and rear. I am looking for a start point for camber/castor/ toe and ride hight. Is there a recomended rake for these cars? by that, I mean should the front ride lower than the back, and if so by how much? I'm willing to play around with it all but am in need of a starting point! That thread doesn't really cover ride heights though, or rake angle. Wish I had a 2 door... my 4 door has more rake than I'd like, and I can't lower the back anymore without the tires rubbing. Don't think I've came across a thread on that subject. Rake affects handling a LOT... I noticed a huge difference just dropping my rear half an inch a while ago. Link to comment
Skib
its the perfect thread to add the topic. as everything else is pretty covered in there so far and its been an ever evolving suspension set up discussion. Link to comment

Maybe, but it doesn't seem like a lot of people really know about rake and how it affects handling. From what I've seen you want the rear as low as possible... Is it possible to go "too low?"
