steering wheel removal on 521

look guys havent found my manual yet after the move ! how do i get the horn thing off the steering wheel of a 521?

I think it unscrews Jeff, it has a big ass spring behind it I remember that much. It's been a couple of years since I had my 521.

Push down on the horn button thing , like your honking the horn . Then while pressing down turn left I believe. Turn right if turning left didn't work. Fairly simple. Good luck.

yeah pop the center cap off and there will be some screws under it.

 

the plastic style horn bar pushes down and turns counter clockwise.

 

let me know if you want to get rid of that horn ring.

YEP:thumbsup: took me a couple minutes to figure it out as well. I think its left, like counter clockwise. The plastic doesn't need to come off if memory serves. Just remember to unplug the horn:lol:
