Does Weber dcoe 40 and 45 share jets, tubes, ect?

I have a set of weber 40's on my LZ21 right now and will soon be trying to dial them in, but I am looking at a set of Weber 45's for using in the future maybe. Question is: do the tuning parts like jets swap from one to the other? It could save me a little coin if I can mix n match jets between the two sets of carbs depending what pair I use on my motor. I know the air horns don't swap so I figure the venturis won't either but the carb bodies are so similar I figured the jets and e-tubes would swap. Am I wrong?

Just keep in mind that when you go from a 40 to a 45, EVERYTHING may change..........idle, main, air correction, emulsion etc etc, cuz your air flow in general will increase with the 45's. I always loved the Haynes Weber manual, cuz it was very user friendly, and explained that when you change one thing, you should always take into consideration changing other "metering" parts (like mentioned above). I ran a single 45 on my MG back in the day, spent LOTS of time on the "Butt Dyno" (in the seat driving, making notes throughout the rev band, as to the performance), came up with a "cool air" and a "warm air" jet set, ran one set on any given day, and kept the other set in the glovebox if the temperature raised or lowered within certain parameters! Only took 3-4 minutes to change in a parking lot, if the temp of any given day changed that much, typically between morning & afternoon! Can't wait to hear that roar of the Webers again................
