Picked up a big parts lot, need folks to help me with values and info.

Went out today and bought a lot of Datsun L6 parts. The seller had some SUs, which I needed, and a bunch of other stuff, which I didn't. He wouldn't piece it out, so I took it all. Only thing is, I only sell Datsun parts once in a blue moon. So here I am, asking y'all for valuation.

 

First thing is an E88 head. One can see that it's been ported, don't know how much or how well. Has been sitting since 2008. Some corrosion developing in 2 of the ports.

 

Second is a Crane cam. Google and Ebay offered little information. It's marked on the back with what looks like "272 - 10" and a few other numbers. I'm assuming those numbers are the duration and lift. Will get the other numbers when it's light out.

 

Third is an elephant oil cap. Anything special?

 

I also have the engine that the cam came out of. Need to get the head off and see if there's anthing special in the bottom end.

I'll give you ten bucks plus shipping for the oil cap :thumbup: it's fairly sought after because it gives a 100 hp boost to L series engines.

Seriously though I think I saw one go for twentyty bucks last year, whatever the market will bear.

What about the cam?

crane stopped making Z car cams about 2005.

 

that doesnt make it worth more but should be able to at least get ~150-200 out of it depending.

It's got a bit of pitting on 2 lobes, so it would be on the low end. Still, that's good news.
