Jdm720
Preferably a local transaction, somewhere in So Cal.. I need a fuel sending unit, my gauge reads full all the time.. Link to comment
datzenmike
Unplug from the tank and if still reading FULL then the wire to the sender is pinched and grounded. A grounded sender wire always reads FULL. Unplug the 10 pin connector under the pass seat. If the gauge goes down then the problem is outside the cab towards the tank. Link to comment
Jdm720
Hmm, I'll check that out today... I'm just assuming its the sending unit as it used to drop to empty when it was approximately half-way. Link to comment
datzenmike
Perhaps stuck in the full up position? Pull the plug at the gas tank... if the gauge goes down the sender is stuck or just bad. Link to comment
