ddrum
I'm trying to remove the center-link only, and it came off the passenger side without a sweat. On the other hand, it seems to be stuck on the driver side and i have been hitting it with a hammer for over an hour. at this point i think i might be doing something wrong, so my question is can I remove the center link by itself or do I need to remove all the front suspension? thanks, Erick Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
Hit the metal of the idler arm right at the tie rod hole. Make sure to turn the wheel to lock to hold the idler arm in position. Edit: Like so... Quote Link to comment
ddrum
Too late... the locking of the idler is so that my steering wouldn't mess up right? that tool worked great though. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
It is for when you hit it with the hammer. If the wheel isn't locked the correct direction, you just turn it when you hit the idler with the hammer. Quote Link to comment
