There's a vertical casting line and about half way down looks like a number 8 lying on it's side? Well the front part is the fill hole with a bung in it. Here's another dogleg, driver's side. About half way down the side and just to the rear of the bell. There's a square headed bung for the oil fill. I know it looks like a drain at the back but it isn't. What it is, is an internal shift linkage part that allows 4th gear to be above 5th. The two other things on the side of the case are switches. The top one is the reverse lamp switch, the bottom one is the 'top gear' switch for emissions control. . Quote Link to comment
