well its cuz my carb doesnt keep my car on it starts up at high revs then it just dies out...i have to drive to work on choke so it can stay on...ima try to rebuild it but i would know where to start...lol.:D:(

Is it a weird weber or a dgv? I have a dgv 32/34.. 24 would be really small.More for a 1200 or 1300 motor.

Got a picture of it?

Check for vacuum leaks around the carb base.I commonly swear at the carb when it is something else.
