Datsun R Fun Posted August 12, 2012 Report Share Posted August 12, 2012 some one did a number to the leaf springs on this 79 620 i just picked up, one is bent more then other, so was wondering if the leafs from a 1974 would fit? as well as what other options there maybe to make it have standard ride height? the 720 leafs would lower the rear what years are commonly used for lowering? datzenmike Posted August 12, 2012 Report Share Posted August 12, 2012 All 521/620/720 springs are the same length front to back. They may, however, have different spring rates. All 620 rear leaf spring are the same except the '78.5 and up Camper option. The 720 springs won't necessarily lower your '79 but 720 4x4 springs ARE flatter and stiffer and they will lower the ride height. Quote Link to comment
