_chiefjt
So I have a '86 Nissan 720 with the z24 motor. I want more power but I think in the long run I think I'll save and be happier with a turbo kit rather than side drafts. This is just my opinion I don't really know. I know side drafts will chug down my gas but isn't fuel injected more efficient. Anyways, I want to convert my stock z24 motor to either TBI or MPFI. I want to know which has better performance and if it's possible after I convert it, can I put a turbo kit on it? I have seen other people convert but no turbo. I've seen mobilejoe's build but it seems too scattered or sloppy. No offense What car/truck can I use that will be able to bolt right up? I think the '86 hardbody will bolt up but not sure. I'va also seen this done but it's TBI. So I need some advice. Thanks, Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The very late 720 came with TBI as did the'86.5 to '89 Hardbody Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Anyways, I want to convert my stock z24 motor to either TBI or MPFI. Well you did say convert to TBI... If you want Z24 turbo here's someone who has it in Z22 size using a KA24E EFI and the earlier 200sx intake/throttle .... http://720world.com/forum/topics/how-to-build-a-z22et http://720world.com/forum/topics/z22et-part-ii-86-nissan-720-regular-cab Quote Link to comment
