bryant2482
i just bought some new 205/65/15 for my 720. i had the new tires put on some after market rims. the front tires rub on the inside of the wheel wells when their turned to far (left and right) i grinded down some of the body. it helped alot but it still rub a little bit. the wheels sticout about 1.5 inches from the body. anyone got some suggestions? dirty-mik3
instead of grinding the wheel well, try rolling the inner lip with a large diameter pipe, you can youtube a tutorial for it, when i did this to mine it gave me exactly what i needed, and if you pry down on the tube when rolling the wheel you can actually "stretch" or "pull" the fender, making it so the wheel wont stick out as much as it did before. how wide are the wheels youre running? it would help if you could post some pictures of the wheel completely hanging so we can see up in the well. ^_^ if anything just re-index your torsion bars so itll lift your truck up a bit? :hmm: Quote Link to comment
sedition88
I've got 205/60R15s on 15 x 8s and I had to roll my fenders. Works great now Quote Link to comment
bryant2482
its not the top of the wheel well or the outside of the wheel well. its on the inside behind the driver side and passenger door. it happens when i make sharp turns is when it rubs. i think i just got to big of a tire size Quote Link to comment
