For example do i need one with a sending unit and a sump or what? the original tank's fuel pump and filter are outside of the tank if that helps Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
Summit Racing sells a 16 gallon cell with sender unit for about $200. The sending unit is a 0-90ohm. You could set it up in your truck, but you'd need a new gauge to go with it. Quote Link to comment
ratsunissan
damn i dont feel like putting in a new gauge but i guess ill add it to the list of wiring that needs to be done haha. but something like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Summit-Racing-Pro-Street-Fuel-Cell-16-Gallon-Plastic-0-90-Fuel-Sender-290108-/370616510277?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item564a772745&vxp=mtr#ht_1623wt_804 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
The sender in the Nissan trucks is 10 to 80 ohms so that fuel cell should work just fine. Full is 10 ohm Zero will give a full reading as well. Empty is 80 ohms so when it reads 80 ohms it only means that it will read empty just a little sooner than when it's really empty. Think of it as a reserve. 2wd short wheelbase are 13.2 gal 4wd short wheelbase are 15.8 gal 2wd long wheelbase are 16.8 gal 4wd long wheelbase are 19.8 gal Maybe all you need is a 4wd tank?
