bigaznt Posted May 16, 2012 Report Share Posted May 16, 2012 I have a 1979 210 wagon that supposed on custom honda coilover and its bouncy as f*&k but I do not know because I havent got the car running yet but any suggestion for any full suspension set. I was the car pretty low but the ride has to be right. Any websites or compadiable set>? Quote Link to comment

ggzilla Posted May 16, 2012 Report Share Posted May 16, 2012 Bouncy means the shocks are bad or not the right units. It's not the springs. Push down on a corner of the car and let go. It should bounce 1.5 times if the shocks are good. If it bounce 2 or more times, the shocks aren't right. The right way to lower a 210 rear is to use stock springs, and cut 1/2 coil from each, But don't use a cutting torch (that's the wrong way), use a hacksaw. Quote Link to comment
