anyone know if i have to keep my voltage regulator box or just get rid of it?? Thanks.

 

The voltage regulator is particular towards the stock 510 non-regulated alternator. As long as you remove the 510 alternator out of the system and run the SR alternator you can remove it. The SR like almost all modern alternators run internal regulators.

Nice looking ride. Isn't that a great feeling when the engine is in the car and not supported by anything other than the mounts? Great work on all the custom bits.

 

BTW, I work on an Army base, and I agree; never live on base!

Anyone know what these wires go to??? I know one is the a/c relay. But what are the other 2 and do i need them???

The bigger plug and the gray one. The brown one is A/C according to the FRS website. Any help would be great. Thanks.

nvm i got it... some of these wires go to the can/am box..... duh! lol i figured this out this morning when i went to wire up my box and couldn't find half the wires... lol so i traced them from my old harness and bam! donedeeees

Also i will be making custom exhaust manifolds for t3 or t25/28 turbos... will up load pics of mine when im done. Made out of 1/2 thick flanges and scheduled 40 tubing. can make with or without external wastegate. PM me if interested...
