For some reason mine has a cleaner with no tubes at all... My guess is the po swapped it with the donor truck he had... I thought I had a guy for smog but it doesn't look like he's going to come through so I have to make sure everything is in line now. Gotta pick up a cat now too, friggin sucks. Quote Link to comment

The ones in california have 2 tubes that connect to the exhaust manifold (in my case headers) on the 1 and 2 cylinder exhaust ports/pipes. I've found a bunch with single pipes and no pipes at all but only one guy in a northern california junk yard has had it.... Quote Link to comment

Its all good...all the california cats have to be upgraded from stock to CARB approved cats to even pass the visual inspection of emissions equipment, let alone the emission levels themselves... twofouroh Posted April 29, 2012 Report Share Posted April 29, 2012 My East Coast 84 4x4 'had' them on it too. But I threw them away when I swapped to a later exh manifold just to get rid of them. It definitely is not a California model, though, so you may find them on 4x4s everywhere - at least 84s. Quote Link to comment
