kinetisist
I am buiding new engine mounts for my 1200 to do a direct bolt in for an A14 and the mechanical fuel pump is in the way....So I am going to a electric fuel pump. I am curious on what would be the best pump for this aplication. I am going to run the stcok hitachi carb and wet manifold that came on the motor. Also in your experience do I need to put in a fuel regulator? Quote Link to comment
ofg
My A14 has a built in return system. Anything that is excess to the carb is routed back automatically. So, if you have the stock a14 fuel lines that run around the front of the engine, then I would say, NO fpr needed, as long as the pump isnt too crazy. As for a pump, Just the cheapie kind would work. I would stay away from the nockity nock oscillating type. They are freakin noisy and annoying. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
you need a low pressure pump say under 4 pounds. Most pumps are about 7 so read the specs carefully. Quote Link to comment
