dscottdatsun
I got a "white bunny" clutch set up for my 79 KC, out of an 81 zx 2+2 (free). I wanted to put this in with my fresh L20. Unfortunately the tranny was already sold, so it will have to go with the stock trans for now. If I remember correctly your suppose to match the throw out bearing sleeve to the clutch from the donor vehicle right? For clairification, I use the zx throw out bearing sleeve not the trucks? datzenmike
The throw out sleeve is matched to the pressure plate. I would say they are the same, (225mm clutch) but get the one for the zx clutch, you can't go wrong with doing this. Compare it to your 620 sleeve... if the same take the new one back. Be sure to get a new bearing and pack it with grease. If you don't know how, ask. Quote Link to comment
dscottdatsun
I measured the two sleeves and there is about a quarter inch difference. Anyone got a 280zx throw out sleeve they could part with? About 2 1/8" long Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If you have the 280zx sleeve just run with it. Quote Link to comment
dscottdatsun
I don't have a 280zx sleeve. It went with the trans. Quote Link to comment
