First Off I'm Not Sure If This Should Be In "Brakes" Or "Suspension"

I Have A 73 610 Goon

Wanting To Upgrade The Front Brakes And Eventually Coilovers

So I These 280ZX Struts From The Junk Yard $53

I'm About To Order Slotted Rotors, Brake Pads, Caliper Rebuild Kit, And Wheel Bearings...

I Wanted To Know What Brake Lines Do I Use?

I Know I Have To Cut The 280ZX Springs And Weld The 610 Springs On

I Was Also Reading That You Have To Get A 280Z Master Instead Of 280ZX

Would I Be Better Off Rebuilding A JY One Or Getting A BECK/ARNLEY?

I Was Also Looking To Lower The Car A Good 2"

Would I Need To Cut The Tubes?

Slotted rotors? Wont matter and may be worse than normal...

Should be able to use your stock 610 lines, Datsun seems to have used the same thread pitch for a long time (510 lines fit the ZX calipers)

Instead of welding you could use double split shaft collars

Have to get a MC? On my 510 Goon I am running the stock 510 MC and the pedal feel is amazing to me...

Dont waste your time rebuilding, just get a new one.

Not sure about the 610, but compared to a 510 ZX struts are about 2 inches shorter.

You can also adjust your ride height by adjusting the height of the lower spring perch. This is where having those split shaft collars are handy (and they can be used with coilovers).
