datsunaholic
That part USUALLY comes with new wheel cylinders; it's not sold separately. Quote Link to comment
pharouh
I bought wheel cylinders from rockauto and that was with them. They're complete from the backing plate to the brake line fitting. Quote Link to comment
herculesinwyoming
who hacked up the brake line fitting. It looks like they used caveman tools on it Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
They look like that after you round them off with a 10mm open-end wrench (or worse a crescent wrench), then add serrations by clamping it in a pair of vice grips. I can't count how many of mine look like that. Rusted on for 30 years, even the proper flare nut wrench isn't gonna break one of those loose without stripping, especially if it's already partially rounded off. Quote Link to comment
rsdaumer
datsunaholic, you were dead on. used a 10mm line wrench, rounded them off, then used the vise grips to get it off. PITA. im gonna order the new wheel cylinders from rock auto; the ones i got from autozone never came with that piece. thanks a bunch! Quote Link to comment
