Carb jetting for h89 A14

So i got a new A14 motor bored .040 over with a h89 head. Could i run the stock hitachi carb? Or do i need to have it rejetted . If a get a Weber, what should it be jetted out to?

Yes, use the stock hitachi carburetor. H89 and the overbore make little difference in jetting. Camshaft and exhaust changes will make bigger difference.

 

Here is the jetting for a Weber 32/36 (DGV)

Auxiliary venturis: 3.5/3.5

Main jets: 140/140

Emulsion tubes: F50/F50

Air correction jets: 170/160

Idle jets: 60/50

Jump jet: 50

Needle valve: 2.00
