Willvis
I have a 74 260z I have 3 inch lowering springs for it. This might be a stupid question but can I use the stock lenghth struts or do I need to get shorter ones???? Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
couple of different ways to look at this Who make 3inch lowering springs. Most I ever seen was 1.5 anyway you talking strut cartridge?so youll use the middle travel of the cartridge or shortening the whole strut but cutting the middle of cutting a inch or so out then using a shorter strut cartridge to insert back in than using those 3inch shorter spring so overall youll have 4 inches shorter. Willvis
My budy said they were 3 inch lowering springs. He said it will make the car about 3 to 4 inches off the ground. I don't quite understand what you are saying about cutting and all that. Quote Link to comment
reese
You should look into replacing the 260 strut housings with later ZX housings with bigger and better brakes and wheel bearings. Quote Link to comment
