ggzilla Posted December 25, 2011 Report Share Posted December 25, 2011 4.11 is no noiser then 3.90 -- as far as the rear axle or gears go. The engine will be a bit noisier for any given MPH as it will be revving higher to make the same speed. Some gearsets are quieter. Like a 3.889 is quieter than a 3.900. Something to do with 35/9 vs. 39/10 and repeating contact patterns. Link to comment
