I have a friend who is chopping the bed and frame off a datsun truck and making a trailer out of it. I tested the motor a little bit and its has good compression and oil pressure. Thinking bad distributor, but not sure.

Wanting $100.00 for all of it. Literally half a truck. :)

that's sad. I cant encourage that kind of thinking by purchasing his parts. I'd feel like an enabler.

Would thinking of it as an organ donor work for you? Or "waste not, want not". Sadly..... the crusher awaits at the end of it's journey.

 

I once got to the yard late and the Datsun I wanted parts off of was loaded on top of a loaded flatbed. I talked to the driver (good guy) he said if a few parts 'fell off' over night it was fine with him. If I had been in time I would have had to pay for them. Free parts...woot!

ship to where and how? what parts? engine and tranny? strapped to a pallet, I think that would cost alot. maybe we can think of something else.
