Rocket Dog
Anybody know if these can be bought or fabricated? I'm looking for the pins that connect the tail gate to the mounts attatched to the truck bed. Link to comment
DanielC
It is just a straight steel pin. I believe 5/16, but that is just a guess, based on an distant memory of removing mine. I could find them, they are out in the cold garage, and I am inside typing on a warm computer right now. They might be mild steel, or maybe something a little harder. I believe you can get "drill rod" in fractional inch sizes, and it is a harder grade of steel. Link to comment

I'll hunt down some 5/16 drill rod and test it out. It doesn't sound expensive. Link to comment
DanielC
I am not guaranteeing it is 5/16. Measure the hole first! Link to comment
