ggzilla
Just throw it in garbage. Unless you are required to recycle -- the parts are all non-recyclable in our local garbage pickup. Quote Link to comment
Skib
take them off and throw them away. make block offs for old EGR holes. plug any vac lines left open. Quote Link to comment
JZ33
I think he meant what smog stuff can he take off without it hurting the Z's performance...? or just what are all of the smog equipment so he knows what to take off...? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Removing the smog equipment won't make for better performance. But this will: * Remove the belt from the air pump * Remove the hose from the EGR valve and plug it * Run a hose straight from the carburetor port to the distributor That's the only 3 things that hurt performance. Skib
* Run a hose straight from the carburetor port to the distributor 76 = EFI Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Good catch. There is a port on the EFI throttle body. Connect it straight to the distrubutor. Test the distributor to make sure it holds vacuum -- most of them are leaking now. Quote Link to comment
