Gas Gage. 69 wagon

Recommended Posts

So today while driving home my gas Gage started cutting out, on and off, I tap the glass and it flickers.

Oh and also my water temp Gage hasn't worked sense I have had the car.

I want to tale the dash apart and fix it on Saturday, and again, any help or tips on what to look for is appreciated

Goto the cargo area and pull the cover back there and check the wires on the sending unit. Temp gauge works I tested it.... if u put the wire on bare metal it reads hot. I know it works its just the sensor is shit.

Do those before pulling the dash cluster. Its a pita.... if you end up pulling it there are two wing nuts on the bottom of the cluster in the back that's a bitch to get too. I had it out once

I hope so, I'm trying really hard to make enough time for the brakes.

I'm goin through all 4 I hope, I'm starting at the back drums and shoes and then the front, then bleed them all starting at the master and goin from closest wheel the furthest away from the master.

I'm losing brake pressure and have to pump once before I get a full pedal and that is not ok while being used as a daily driver. I'll take lots of pics
