I bought this header yesterday and just realized that my motor is has square exhaust ports. The header I have is a 6-1 that has some surface rust, but I'm going to get it blasted and painted. RAG&BONE Posted October 10, 2011 Report Share Posted October 10, 2011 I might be wrong on this one but I believe the P90 head with the square ports only came on turbo engines, and so there really are no headers available for that cause that head would usually have a turbo manifold on it not headers. datzenmike Posted October 10, 2011 Report Share Posted October 10, 2011 1970 through 1976 heads have square exhaust ports (E31, E88, N42) 1977-'83 heads use rounder, diamond shaped exhaust ports (N47, P79) 1981-'83 turbo heads have square exhaust ports (P90,P90a) Link to comment
