610racecar
I have a L20B cylinder head I pulled from a Datsun drag car that has a mystery cam in it. One end is marked "CLIFFORD 298" with "698" or "693" on the same end. Maybe 298 is the duration? I can't find any references on Clifford cams for Datsuns, just the 6=8 Clifford company of Hudson/AMC/Jeep fame. Any ideas? Marc in Indy Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Yep, that's a Clifford 298 grind. Of Hudson/AMC/Jeep fame. They made cams for many different engines, both 4 and 6 cylinder. Quote Link to comment

Sealik
Measure the highest and lowest points of a cam lobe....subtract the lower number from the higher...then multiply by 1.48 That will give you your lift. Measure (both) intake and exhaust lobes....they might be different Quote Link to comment
