drastic520
Sup everyone. I was working on my l16 a few days ago and suddenly it started running like shit. Opened it up and the intake valve on number 4 cyl got stuck and broke. Now its just stuck there. So now I figured y not swap. While looking for a ka to throw in, I came across this.... http://sarasota.craigslist.org/pts/2580669210.html My question is whats the difficulty level on this? I have a rotary in my old 520 but I wanna change it up a bit. And for $500, I fugured id ask the ratsun gods here and see if its a good deal or what I nees to be looking out for. Here are some pics. Any help is appreciated..... Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
CA18ET. Not the most desirable-but doable. If you want a KA, get one. No need to fab for this,, then re do it all to go KA. For now, I'd get the replacement parts for the L, or find a whole head at the salvage yard. Single cam CA's aren't bad, but a worn KA will stomp all over that thing. Quote Link to comment
drastic520
I was thinking that but thats y I asked here. Figured it was cheap for a reason. Im gonna look around for a valve to replace the broken one and work on getting me a ka. Its gonna be easier to find parts too. Quote Link to comment

And you don't want to be the one to find out why. Quote Link to comment
