james610 Posted September 2, 2011 Report Share Posted September 2, 2011 i have a 74' 610 l20b. it used to run and idle great then i pulled the engine 2 paint the bay area & now it has trouble idling... also when i try to shut it off it stays on w/ no key and i disconected the coil and it stayed on for another 5-10sec running rough and backfiring.. wat can b wrong? i heard this might happen if the timing is way off... i need help adjusting my carb cause i overhauled it, changed all the gaskets and components...
