jchristians
Doing the 720 hub/caliper/hoses brake upgrade on my '71 521. I am using 1984 720 parts. Does the 1984 caliper have an inner and outer hose?? or just one hose going to caliper w/ banjo bolt? appreciate any help! these auto stores are not much help!! argh. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Inner and outer hose??? 4x4 and 2x4 have different hoses. But the regular 2WD 1984 720 front brakes use one hose per side. I think the earlier ones used two steel tubes per side (steel tube to caliper) with a hose in between, but the 1984 uses one steel tube and one brake hose. Quote Link to comment
jchristians
THat is what I thought. Every local auto place told me I need an inner and outer. Thanks for the response. Quote Link to comment
