zed1
I am reassembling the interior of my 520 and need a color photo of what the original door panels looked like (specifically the width of the individual panel pleats). Does anyone have a photo of an original panels with the vinyl covering? Thanks, Keith Quote Link to comment
jefe de jefes
Best I can do right now. It's a 521 though. Quote Link to comment
boxboy
Keith, I just put new fiber board on mine. My vinyl was decent, so I just cleaned them up with Bleche White and they came out pretty good. Do you just need the vinyl measurements, or the panels themselves? Quote Link to comment
boxboy
Here is the best shot I have from here at work. I'll get measurements for you this evening. Quote Link to comment
zed1
Thanks the panel design! I am looking for the measurements of the width of each section of the door panel vinyl. The PO replaced the horizontal seamed vinyl with an vertical seamed vinyl. (I have fabricated new masonite panels and have the positioning of the fastener and crank holes, but lack old vinyl to use as a template.) Keith Quote Link to comment
zed1
jefe de jefes, Thanks for the measurement and photos. Were these vinyl covers made using an old set of covers as a template? (I just want to be sure that the measurements I am using did not result from any "artistic license" taken by the fabricator.) Keith Quote Link to comment
jefe de jefes
They are stock panels/stock vinyl Quote Link to comment
