Guest DatsuNoob
Was down there yesterday, and saw the same old orange 620 Deluxe. May have been a 78. There were also a couple early 521's there too. Good doors and fenders, fairly complete J-series engines. The 620 is pretty kicked though. Rusted and painted over. Saw a real nice 78 280z too, very clean, straight shell, shiny red paint, would be good for some body parts. Was looking at the trans but it turned out to be a 4-spd, so I got the 7/8" master cylinder and GR starter instead. Cant believe how well my truck starts now. Quote Link to comment
NSRz32
I'm jealous....there's not a single Datsun of any year in a junkyard local to me Would you be willing to cut some rockers off of one of those 521's if they're solid and ship them to me? Quote Link to comment
Guest DatsuNoob
Hard to find the time man, sorry. My work says the next 2 weekends are mandatory. I work 2nd shift, and am usually so tired I sleep until it's almost time to go. We'll see if they're still there by then, but my guess is they'd probably be closer to the crusher.
