I kept thinking it looked familiar....took me a min to realize it was a J motor.....read the siggy :) This should give you a rough idea of the mani linkage. Mine had a bit different cable bracket. Your bracket will mount to the back left bolt(closest to brake m/c) and should point the cable down toward the arm with the barrel on it. The ball joint end shoudl connect up to the carb, but the arm on your carb is too far away. Not sure what you'll have to do to fix that. Might be easier to get a later model accel cable that is a lot longer. Quote Link to comment

RatsunRailer67 Posted February 19, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 19, 2008 Thats the stock nikko carb isnt it? Ive rigged up a 32/36 weber the arm is a little farther away... I should be able to rig something up to make it work. They make an adapter for it buts its like $50 a little pricey. I figured i could make something for quite a bit cheaper...
